A field of stars is made from cast iron. The red stripes are illustrated by seven segments of oak. The white stripes are 'filled in' by the spaces between the wood. The top four wood segments are connected to the field of stars as one piece. The bottom three stripes assemble individually to the back. Legs and arm rest pieces (each side is one entire piece) feature a striking American eagle 'US' seal surrounded by stars and hold five lengths of oak to form the seat.
